On the 1st Sunday of the month baptisms are during the 11:00 a.m Mass. On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays of the month at 1:00 p.m. An interview with a priest or a deacon and a baptism class for parents and godparents are a prerequisite.

Mass Schedules
Mass Schedule for Sunday Liturgy of the EucharistSaturday Vigil Mass at 5:00 p.m. Traditional liturgy. Organ music and piano music provided by our organist Gerline Melancon.
Sunday Morning Mass at 8:00 a.m. Traditional liturgy. Organ music provided by our organist Ramona Folse. Fellowship is offered after the 8:00 a.m. Mass in the Narthex of the Church. Coffee, orange juice and doughnuts are available after Mass.
Sunday Morning Mass at 11:00 a.m. Contemporary liturgy. Organ and piano music provided by our Music Director, Malcolm Lanius and our St. Joseph Adult Choir.
Sunday Afternoon Mass at 5:00 p.m. LifeTeen liturgy. Music provided by Fernando Morales and the Life Teen Band. Life Nights for our High School Youth (LifeTeen) is usually offered after the 5:00 PM Mass.
Mass Schedule for Weekday Liturgy of the Eucharist
Monday and Saturday at 7:00 a.m. in the Week Day Chapel
Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in the Week Day Chapel
Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. in the Week Day Chapel With Adoration after Mass until Evening Vespers at 5:00 p.m.
Friday Children’s School Mass at 8:30 a.m. in the Main Church during the normal school year from late August to May of each year. During the summer months the Friday 8:30 a.m. Mass is celebrated in the Week Day Chapel. During the school year the 8:30 a.m. Mass is often moved to the main church for various Holy Days during the year.
Reconciliation (Confession)
Confessions are held from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. each Saturday afternoon and after the 7:00 a.m. Mass on Saturdays.
Bible Studies

After the 8:30 a.m. Mass on Wednesday mornings until Benediction and Evening Vespers at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoons. Exposition Services are generally conducted in the Week Day Chapel.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation
Individual celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation is held every Saturday from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.. and after the 7 a.m. Mass on Saturday morning. Communal celebration of this sacrament is also scheduled at other times during the year according to the Liturgical seasons. The Sacrament is also available upon request. Please contact one of our priests at the church.
The Sacrament of Marriage
Contact a priest or deacon 6 to 12 months in advance to insure the proper preparation for this sacrament. Weddings are usually conducted on Friday nights or between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
The Sacrament of Baptism
The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays of the month at 1:00 p.m.. An interview with a priest or deacon and Baptism classes are a prerequisite. The Baptismal classes are usually held at least once per month. Both the parents and godparents must attend a Baptismal class.
The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick
Please call the church if a family member is ill. We are glad to administer the Sacrament at home to those who are sick. The sacrament can also be conducted at church upon request. If a family member is hospitalized and needs to be anointed, please give us a call.

Teaching the Good News Catholic Education and Formation for all Ages
Sunday Mornings, 9:30 a.m to 10:30 a.m.
Elementary School Formation (K-5th grade)
Especially for Public and Home School Children, but open to all. K through 2nd grade classes prepare children for the sacraments of the Eucharistic and Confession and 3rd through 5th grade classed begin the process of preparation for Confirmation.
Junior High Formation (6th-8th grade)
Especially for Public and Home School Chirldren, but open to all, Junior High Formation (EDGE) Continues the Confirmation preparation process.
High School Formation (9th-12th)
High School Formation is an alternative to Sunday evening Life Teen. The Sunday Morning Confirmation preparation process is a "classroom" type setting. Families must interview with the Pastor to participate in this new program.
Adult Formation
Adult Formation is welcome to all adults and is an opportunity for Catholics to learn and spiritually grow in the Faith while participating in engaging and lively discussions, studies, and workshops.
RCIA- Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
RCIA is the process for Adults (and children over the age of 7) to join the Church and is also welcome to parishioners who are willing to journey with the group as sponsors, mentors, and companions.
Lifeteen - (Grades 9th-12th) Sunday Evenings from 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. using the Lifeteen program. Preparations for the Sacrament of Confirmation for our 11th grade students is also conducted on Sunday nights at the same time. Students attending a Catholic High School must also attend the 11th grade program in prepartion for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Children's Church Ministry
Children's church takes place during the 10:30 a.m. Mass on Sundays. Contact Denise Arnondin at 386-4522 or 956-2678. Also, once per month we have a children's Mass at the 10:30 a.m. Mass on the third Sundays of each month.
Adult Choir
The adult choir sings at the 10:30 a.m. Mass each Sunday. Contact Malcolm Lanius at 225-294-9954. Practices are held on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. in the church.
Resurrection Choir
We have a Resurrection Choir that assists at all funerals in the parish. If you are interested in serving in this choir, please call Gerline Melancon at 985-386-3834.
Life Teen Choir
If you would like to partticipate in the Life Teen Choir, please contact Fernando Morales at 985-370-7006.
Lifeteen Band
The Lifeteen Band plays and sings at the 5:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon Mass. Contact Fernando Morales at 370-7006. Practices are held on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the church.
